infinity interrupt is Jacob Fisher

Infinity Interrupt was burn from the wastelands of the Chicago industrial music scene.  Started by Jacob Fisher in the late 90s. Jacob was driven by a frustration of the over saturation of guitars and the grunge/emo scene.  His curiosity of electronic music and his love to create new sounds started Infinity Interrupt. Like all industrial musicians of the 90s, Jacob was influenced by the powerful bands of Front 242, Front Line Assembly, and Skinny Puppy. You can not mention Chicago as an influence without mentioning the legendary Wax Trax! Records.

The first release, Antarctica Starts Here, defined the sound of Infinity Interrupt with a large use of analog synthesizers, digital sampling driven by a personal creative ethos.  This self release explored futuristic philosophies of the cyberpunk movement including the chaos & control of the postmodern ideologies.

While working in the studio on the first release of fellow Chicago electronic musician and visual artist Flutter, Jacob met the enigmatic creative force of Jason Walker.   Jason joined on vocals to finish the recording of Antarctica Starts Here. Jacob Fisher and Jason Walker formed a strong relationship and started define Infinity Interrupt next process

The second release in 2005, Hybrid Still Life, was an exploration of a more personal territory. The aggressive sounds of S.E.P. and emotional environment of the song Once Again was a new emotional landscape within the vocals styles and musical content.  The two titled tracks had the aggressive energy for the dance floor with the sounds and motions of Still Life and the EBM killer of Hybrid.  A handful of live performances follow the release of Hybrid Still Life. Some more successful than others but they were always an adventure.  Thank you to all of you that support the live industrial music scene.

A third album, Beneath Understanding, was being produced and written. Many songs were recorded and produced for many compilations and remix albums. Even a very popular Skinny Puppy song was in the process of covering. Unfortunately it was never finish as of writing this Bio. Jason and Jacob both came had to focus on personal situations and develop their own financial career path. Coincidentally both as teachers of highly creative educational institutions. Jacob continued teaching High School technical theater and stagecraft. Jason furthered his passion for the visual arts and elementary education He also has outstanding home kit models skill set. A long hiatus during the 2010s Infinity Interrupt music production paused.

Infinity Interrupt did continue.  In the Spring of 2016, Jacob Fisher produced the more techno/EDM album titled The Scientist. This album was entirely conceived and produced within 10 days. The production of this album was the perfect escape from the stresses of the normal day job of educational theater. Sometime in 2017,  Jacob gathered various tracks for the the next release, Salvaged Mixes. This album was a collection of never released remixes, some barely finished and rough mixed songs and few new tracks. These new tracks,  Doesn’t Make Sense, Playmaker and The Singularity, were entirely produce by Jacob Fisher using the Reason software DAW, in the new recording environment, Internal Studio.
